Latest Corcoran Report - 4Q 2016
We are pleased to include a link to Corcoran’s Fourth Quarter Report, an in-depth look at Manhattan’s residential sales trends for Q4 2016. This report includes data on sales that closed in the fourth quarter and therefore is not necessarily reflective of the most current sale prices. A few points to consider: - Although average price per square foot increased by 6% over the same quarter last year, there were 15% fewer closings and 15% fewer contracts in Q4 2016 than in the same quarter in 2015
- Year over year, inventory increased in every segment of the market except for studios and new developments
- Market-wide, the average number of days on the market increased 8% from Q4 2015 to Q4 2016
