Hope the first month of the new year has been well where ever you are in the world.

The residential market here in NYC in January experienced a nice momentum: Sellers are no longer waiting for the spring season to put their property on the market for sale, some are now preparing to spruce up their property before going 'live' with the listing and it has been more about which contractor would be available to help with the job to determine when they can go on the market. Buyers' activities are very good and the need to be educated about the adjusted market is more than ever because bidding wars are happening. The rental market has rebounded indicated by large rental buildings with far fewer incentives offerings and this is bright news for investors who are in need of placing new tenants even during the cold winter months when traditionally activities are much slower.

As we enter a new month of February that is a rare one this year: besides on the 1st as the first day of the Lunar New Year of the Tiger (the song Eye of the Tiger by Survivor just started humming in my head, yours too?) - we will experience 4 Sundays, 4 Mondays, 4 Tuesdays, 4 Wednesdays, 4 Thursdays, 4 Fridays, and 4 Saturdays that happens only every 823 years, called a Miracleln.

Hope you'll enjoy this update along with some resources, and the Manhattan 4Q 2021 Report is included here for your leisurely read. I am here if you have any questions that need to be answered immediately.

Whether you celebrate the lunar new year or not, here to wish you good health, happiness, prosperity, and many fortunes in this Year of the Tiger!
