The light at the end of the tunnel.  I just received my first dose of the vaccine - I am so hopeful that life will be more normal now.  I for one am so excited about a little travel and eating in restaurants.  I love to cook but I also like a break!!  After a wintry February the month of March feels downright balmy.  It is a perfect time to finalize your Hamptons getaway - whether you are buying or renting.  And of course it is a great time to be selling.  I am happy to talk about the market, help you with your sale, purchase or rental or share a recipe.  Happy happy Spring.

What I am Cooking Now
Barley Risotto with Carrots and Mushrooms
This is a great side dish for almost any kind of protein.  It is a nice warming dish that cooks in the oven without stirring.  And it is a great leftover - you can just add some cooked chicken and reheat.  Enjoy!

March 11th – March 28th
Hampton Theater Company, Quogue, NY
A sunny room on an upper floor is prime real estate in the Bristol Place Assisted Living Facility, so when the cantankerous Abby is forced to share her quarters with new-arrival Marilyn, she has no choice but to get rid of the infuriatingly chipper woman by any means necessary. A seemingly harmless bet between the old women quickly escalates into a dangerous game of one-upmanship that reveals not just the tenacity of these worthy opponents, but also deeper truths that each would rather remain hidden. As heartfelt as it is deliciously inappropriate, this hilarious world premiere marks the author's sixth collaboration with MTC.

The three most common species of seals that visit Long Island at this time of year are Harbor Seals, Grey Seals, and Harp Seals. Join us on a walk toward the ocean at Cupsogue Beach County Park, where at low tide you can expect to see some of these seals sunning themselves on the distant sandbar. It may be cold and windy, so please bundle up. This walk is for adults, teens, and children age 5 and older. There is a $10 fee for Adults and $7 fee for children for this program. Members are free. Please note that, as mandated by the latest State Executive Order regarding COVID-19 safety precautions, our outdoor nature walks and programs will at all times follow stringent six-feet distancing separation protocols required by the Department of Health for the safety of our participants and environmental educators.
