Ways to stay social in times of isolation.
1. Find places in your neighborhood that are still open for take out or other services. BIDs (Business Improvement Districts) are a great resource for this. Many Neighborhood Associations have put together such lists. In my neighborhood, the Boerum Hill Association has put together a few lists
2. Check-in with your neighbors. Many supermarkets and grocery stores are opening early for Senior Citizens, but some Seniors are not early risers--offering to shop for a neighbor could just make their day/week. They will blow you a kiss from six feet away.
3. Get busy with those home projects for which you never have time. Did you get to Michael's before they shut down? No? I have it on good authority that Lowe's is still open.
4. Make your own masks. These are more for your neighbors protection than your own.
5. Watch real estate videos about current listings.
